Newness - Cobalt Blue Hat!

I've been a little under the weather since Wednesday with a nasty cold/virus thing... and so has my baby. :(  Trying to catch up on life though.  So, I'm listing something today. I hope to get the rest up this week too!

Here is a bright cobalt blue slouchy hat... I love the looser fit in the back, with the nice hold of the ribbing at the front.  Available for $20 + shipping.  Click the photo to be taken to Etsy!

And, of course, I love custom orders, so if you like it but want it in another color, just ask!  :)

New Model = Awesome Photos

So, so, so, so glad my friend, Shaina, could come out and model for me... I love every photo. Her awesome, fun, goofy personality shows and fits with my style too.  Not much to say today, so enjoy the photos.  These are just of the cowls.  Hats/sweaters/etc. soon.

If you want one, just comment with your email address and I'll send you an invoice!  Or head to facebook (http:///www.facebook.com/jennybunnycreations) if that's easier for you!

The ones that are listed on Etsy already will have a link underneath them!

Cha-cha-changes

It's been since January 21st since I last posted on here, but I have a very good reason...  I was pregnant and not feeling well at all.

And then I had my daughter ten weeks early on February 15th.  So I had a delightful little bundle of joy way before she was ready. Before I was too. I have a Caring Bridge site for her here: Lauren Jean.  That link takes you to the first post I ever put up, explaining what happened exactly.  It's painful for me and a long story so I won't elaborate about it on here. If you want to read it, and understand, then please do. If not, just know that I'm so happy to be a mother to a wonderful, now healthy girl and I plan on being a work-at-home mom. She is still in the hospital until they deem her fit to go home, but she's doing very well.

So, the cha-cha-changes are that I'm lucky enough to be a stay/work-at-home mom!  That means I get to focus on my girl AND jewelry making and knitting!  And crocheting... And sewing if I want!!!!  I'm excited if you can't tell.

I have to get back to some custom orders, but I wanted to share a couple new items. :)

The big turquoise and red earrings are on Etsy, if you are interested in purchasing them. Just click the photos to be redirected to my Etsy shop. :)

The top pair and bottom two are not listed since the top sold and I haven't had time to list the bottom two. If you'd like either of the bottom two, just leave a comment with your email address and I'll send you an invoice from Paypal. Earrings are $12 per pair, shipping is $5 for the whole order.

These ones sold already, but I love them so much I had to share a photo!
If you would like something similar, please don't hesitate to ask!

Not yet listed. Please leave a comment with your
email address if you'd like to purchase them for $12.00,

Back to making the pretty things now and back to the hospital tomorrow to see my sweet girl...

Tasseled

I have been playing around with chain lately and came to the happy conclusion that I love tassels made from chain.  These necklaces are almost all chain, except a hoop, jump rings and a single Czech glass bead.  I love the vintage feel, with just a little pop of color.

The purple and tangerine are currently for sale in my etsy shop and the other two will be within the week.

29 inches long and $20 per necklace.

Also, I do have two more colors coming soon- Green and Cream.  Of the six, what is your favorite?  Or do you have a color you would like to see?

Ok, back to creating I go.
xoxo

Crazy... Crazy... Crazy....

Holy carp... It's been since the beginning of June that I blogged last.  It's been a wild couple of months....

I have only a picture to explain part of the craziness.....  Yes, that is my car.  Yes, the back hatch fell off.  Yes, this is my life.

ON a happy note, it's getting fixed.  And I'm over the hysterical crying... Because, really, who's hatch falls off their car!?

Anyway.  Back to awesome things.

I have new jewels.  Lots of them.

Like these:

Heavy Metal is made of Miyuki Hex Cut Seed Beads.  A whole lotta strands in three different colors.  It's my new favorite piece too.  I'm going to make one for myself soon!

Orange Dreamsicle is super yummy... I'm digging the silver with the tangerine.  A sunny, summery combo!

There are a whole bunch of new things on my etsy site... This post would be forever long if I added them all.

Another good thing:  I'm having a sale on both of my sites until the 18th with coupon code "LoveIt" for 20% off your whole order!  Yay, right?

I love custom orders!

I really do love them.

This here is a pair of earrings for a lovely gal named Sandra! She was at a house party hosted by a friend and she loved the earrings that were in my giveaway here, but wanted them in black!  I didn't have the same sized wire for the outer ring, but I had a slightly bigger gauge.  The new version are more substantial, but also sturdier.

These babies are no small pair of earrings.  At just about 2 inches around, they are a showy, shiny pair.

Each hoop was cut to size, then fused together.  I hammered, filed, hammered some more, then filed, and then polished them to a sheen. I love the slightly darker parts where the hammer hit and the polish just can't reach.  So pretty!

Custom orders are my fave, darlings, so if you see anything you like, but would like it in a different color, just holler!  :D

SO, free shipping in June, just use code "ShipInJune" when checking out in my Etsy Shop!

Offcenter Necklaces

Color for May
I haven't had much time lately to make things... And that makes me sad, but I'm free this weekend to do whateva I want!  :D  I have a few custom orders to do and I hope to just knock out some stunning pieces!

Color for June!
My newest necklace design, the Offcenter, is a bit funky, definitely fun and easy to wear, but mainly short.  I don't do many short necklaces....  I'm not biased against them... And I even own quite a few, but I just tend towards longer ones!  :D  I'll try to work on that though, for the short necklace fans!

I've only made three colors so far, but I'm thinking white would just look amazing with the brass beads mixed in too...  Or bright yellow, maybe?

Two strands of chain, two strands of beads... It's all about balance in the style, but the beads were all added at random, so they are off center!  :D

I hope you have a lovely weekend!  Thanks for reading!

Silver Is In

I've been listing a bunch of different items on etsy lately. Usually it's my antique brass designs, but quite a few silver pieces have been popping up too!

I just listed the Sky earrings today ($20).

The turquoise glass makes me wish that it hadn't just snowed last night.... It would be wonderful to see some sun and bright blue sky!

The Droplet earrings ($25) are one of my new favorites because they are so shiny.  Just imagine the sunlight hitting these... They would blind someone with their blinginess!  :D

I had a miniature version of them too, but they sold at a home party I had last weekend.  I'll have to make more since they are so cute.  Any colors you'd like to see?  Or should I stick with the shiny faceted beads?

Broken ($25) was a happy accident... I was being slightly impatient, which I'm known for, and the metal separated instead of fusing.  They were going to be a round hoop like the Sky earrings, but they have a little extra funk going for them now.  You can't see the gap in the picture, so you'll have to click the picture or link above!

I'm thinking of doing the Droplet design with these clear faceted AB finished beads.  They might be even shinier!

Round and Round it goes, where it stops, no one knows!

The Round and Round ($15) earrings are my most basic design.   They are about 1 inch in diameter.  I've done a few different finishes on them too.

To the left is the tarnished pair. I liked the black, but I polished just the edges for some added fun. You can find the original, shiny silver pair here: Round and Round in Silver!

I'm not feeling so swell today, thanks to my darling fiance.  He gave me his cold.  Otherwise, I'd run to my table and start making more silver pieces.  I think I'll take a quick nap instead!

Thanks for reading my blog!  I did just remodel it a little so let me know what you think!

Vicious

I spent 4 solid hours yesterday just creating! I hadn't even realized four hours had gone by until my stomach rumbled. I hadn't eaten ANYTHING all day. But that's okay though since I made 11 necklaces and 5 pairs of earrings.... and then I made a big dinner too.

The Vicious Necklaces are a few of my favorite pieces that I made yesterday. I have all 6 colors listed on my big cartel site, for you non-etsy users. Only three colors, the cream, lavender and cobalt will be available here: Jenny Bunny on Etsy. (I may get list-happy and add all the colors, but for now only those three are available!)

What's your favorite color?

***CLOSED*** Giveaway! Big, Funky Earrings

I realized, after posting the question about what to offer for the giveaway to my facebook fans, that my definition of "Big" and "Funky" maybe be slightly different from theirs.

I tend to go quite goofy when I think big & funky. quite. :D

Four Years

It's been four year since I opened up shop on Etsy. Time has flown. I can't believe it. I look back at what I was creating at first and it blows my mind how much my art has changed.

I just want to say thanks to all my fans, friends and family who have supported me over the years.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

Sweetness

I've been listing like a fiend again...

Usually I'll just post a link on my facebook page to any new items. I'd love to blog about them, yet I think I'd be blogging every day all day until I'm caught up.

BUT, I wanted to share my thoughts on these necklaces.

Usually I make big, funky or long, simple necklaces because, well, that's what I like. Several of my lovely fans let me know that they'd like shorter, simpler necklaces too. Who am I to deny my wonderful followers?

Along came Sweetness in green, purple and smoky gray. The smoky gray is gone already, to a great friend and future bridesmaid, but it was just so perfect for her. She's just dainty herself!

I didn't want to do just a chain with a little pendant because I was afraid that it would get overshadowed by it. It's such a simple pendant anyway, right?

I think the string of beads really adds to the sweetness of the necklace... Hence the name. And the beads in the pendant stand out a bit more with the string up there too....

AND, boy am I freckly!

What do you think? Love them? Hate them?

Sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Hey, loves...

I was sick all of February and part of this lovely month, but I'm finally stepping back into the Bunny shoes. Cleaning and organizing are top priority right now, but I'll be listing new items as soon as I can get through about 100 photos and edit them all!

Giveaway & Goodies

So, I have had a few parties the past few months, so my stock has been slightly depleted.... I've also been working on some amazing new pieces, but then saving them for those parties. Now, darlings, it's time for you to reap the benefits of my hard work!

The earrings you see were purchased by a friend... BUT she also had me make a customized pair for her too. I changed the colors up for her a bit and made them a bit shorter!

Here's what you'll win:
A fully customized pair of earrings.

They'll be the length you want, with the colors of your choosing. Please know though, not all colors are available, but I do have a wide variety or can order more.

These earrings are Argentium Silver (.925) which is nearly identical to Sterling, but it has Germanium instead of Copper in it. This causes the silver to stay shinier longer!

Value: $20.00

Here's what you have to do:

  1. Leave a comment telling me why you want this shiny, lovely pair of earrings. This is the only mandatory step and it gives you one entry.
  2. If you blog about this giveaway, leave a separate comment with the blog link. Your blog post must link back to this giveaway post. Once the post is verified, you'll have one more entry. This step is optional and can only be completed once.
  3. If you twitter about this giveaway, leave a separate comment with the twittered link. Your tweet must link back to this giveaway post. New Versions of Simply

A while back, I made the Simply in Melon... And I really loved the design, so I made a few in different colors.

Here are two of my favorites- Faceted Crystal and Coffee

Click the photos if you'd like to see the listing ($10 a pair)

I have several other colors to try, but I really love the translucent colors. I'm going to make some with opaque colors too, but for now, you'll just have to enjoy these!

Have a great day!

Goodness Gracious!

I've been on a vacation for far too long... Yeah, it's been since June that I blogged. I hope you haven't missed me.... Well, actually, I kind of hope you did.... :D

Here's just a couple things that have been going on:
*I've been really lazy and I haven't been making stuff.
*I have been enjoying being lazy and don't feel guilty about it at all.
*I've been thinking about doing a giveaway to kick start my getting back into the creating mood!

Here's what I'm going to do about it:
*I'm going to do a giveaway.
*I'm going to start creating again.... Even though I do have a bunch of stuff in my shop that you should check out.... *hint, hint* (Jenny Bunny on Etsy)

I'll post my giveaway next week... I'm thinking MONDAY! Any input on what you'd like to get if you win would be appreciated. Maybe a necklace? Something fun and funky? Or a bangle or two....?

Lemme know what you think!

Miss you! Love you!
xoxo,
JB

Solid

I ♥ these bracelets! I'm fairly basic in what I wear everyday... 3 bangles, a cuff and a bracelet Joe bought me. Every. Day. And, I'm ok with that, but I love throwing some random bracelets in too just for fun!

These Solid bracelets are the perfect addition to my simple accessories!
