Renaissance Festival

I rode an elephant.  There is not much to say after that.  I never thought I'd ride one, but I did it for love.  My five year old nephew insisted on it... and, well, I'm a good aunt, I guess.

Here are just a few pics of our day together!

Like a true medieval gent, he ate a giant turkey leg....

And was announced a brave knight that he is...
(Kids games are fun to watch... He was so proud of his prizes!  Two necklaces.)

If you ever get the chance to journey to a Renaissance Festival, I advise doing it... The food is always great and the entertainment is really fun.  Seeing the more odd costumes is the best really.  :D

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I got absolutely no creating done, but enjoyed every moment of it!

No hurry today...

You know, I spent most of my 20's trying to become the person I am now.  I'm still in my 20's at a whopping 29, but I finally feel like I'm where and who I need to be.  I'm happy with my life, my love, work, playtime... And I wish everyone the same happiness.  The struggle to get here just makes the arrival all that much better.

Now on to house buying and kids.  :D  Not that I'm in any hurry for that either....

I'm listing new items on Etsy right now and boiling a chicken for soup or chili or whatever I want it to be...  And listening to music.  Just thought I'd share a song that reminds me to not hurry and to enjoy life!

I hope you have an amazing day and enjoy the ride.

Well, hello there....

It's been a long, and fun, year and half. I was laid off in October of 2011, then got engaged in December...  And spent a year and (almost) half planning my wedding while job hunting and doing life things.  The job came eventually and everything that was up in the air, settled down.

On May 12th, I was lucky enough to marry the most perfect man for me, Joe.  I haven't gotten my photos back from my photographer yet, so here's a pic of me and my dad-yo.

It was an amazing day.  I've never felt better and more sure of where my life is leading.

I'm trying to work less at my job that pays me consistently, so I can actually work on Jenny Bunny Creations.  Today, is the day where I get to start over.  I've made baby steps over this last busy year and a half, like changing the look of JBC and I've had some time to make new things.  BUT, I haven't had much time to actually show you, my fans, my friends, my family, what those things are.

So, with my new schedule, I'm hoping that my Tuesdays and Wednesdays (which I should have off more often than not) are my days for this.  My blog needs love... So does my site, etsy, twitter, facebook.  I just have to do it.

Here's where I'm at-  I'm telling you this so it's out there in the world.  I'm making it my mission to make JBC a better (little) company.  I love her and I want her to thrive.  Someday it's all I want to do... I just have to get there.

Thanks for sticking around while she's been neglected and I really hope you like what you see in the future.

I have to admit...

I'm plum-tuckered. I've been going through a lot lately, but trying to keep a positive outlook.

When my Grandpa Jim died, I got kind of freaked out. I know it's normal and all, but life really goes by way too fast.... And I don't cherish all the great things I have as much as I should.

I've been sick for over a week now, but it's finally working it's way out of my system... It was horrible. I haven't been that sick from just a cold in so long....

And I'm trying to get back in the swing of things... I haven't made jewelry in a while, but I've been knitting... I even got the sewing machine I've been dreaming about. My main goal is organization though!

Poor Joe! I don't know how he puts up with my mess!

Thanks for reading... Just a little vent!
