Thanks to Betsy3 for putting me in a treasury again that made it to the front page AGAIN! She picks such lovely pieces and pops then into these treasuries that just make me drool!
I love all the jewelry pieces she picks, too. That ring is TO DIE FOR!
It's funny- Whenever I make a treasury, I instantly go to her shop to find something that fits my idea. I'm never disappointed either. She's such a talented jewelry designer that I just HAVE to show her off!
I'll stop babbling about how much I love her now. Check out the treasury if you want and then Betsy3's shop too. You won't be disappointed!

1, 2, 3... 6 new things!
The weather outside is frightful... so I've been staying inside and creating! Born and raised in Minnesota, I still don't love the cold. I can stand it. I just choose not to.
Slippers, sweater and sweats keep my comfy in my basement studio. Here are just a few things that are in my Etsy shop now.
Coal is my newest favorite. I love the length and the faceted glass beads. It's just a perfect simple necklace to wear. I've even made myself one and put it on every day so far!
First Floor is a simpler version of On the Level, with only one strand of beads. I have to order some more chain, but I plan on doing both designs in multiple colors soon. I love a pop of color with the most basic outfits.... So, though simple, these necklaces make me want to wear them all the time too. Oh, and yes, I've made a few for me.
I love these earrings. I love everything I make, I know... But these hold a special place in my heart. You can see a more elaborate version of them with my first wholesale order. They are the "Hot" earrings.
These are the Warm earrings! Less beads, a little more streamlined, still perfect!
I found these awesome antique brass hoops in my (mess of a) jewelry supply box and thought they'd look great in a very simple pair of earrings. The Lilt earrings. The Cobalt blue looks perfect with the antique brass!
They are just a bit shorter than the Cadence earrings. I really like long earrings. I know not everyone does, so I like to make the same earrings in different lengths.
The black is much more subtle, but I love it next to the antique brass too.
I've been a little stuck on bracelets lately. They are the item of jewelry I wear the most, but I haven't had the vision to make any. It's weird, like writer's block!
The Weave bracelet jump-started my creative drive though. I was playing with chain and the hoops and this design just came forward. I love the simplicity, yet it still has that unique flair too.

On The Level & Swing
I've been enjoying some much needed down time. I've been reading and relaxing and taken some time away from creating too. I'm going to jump back in to it tonight though. I've been missing it so much!
Here are a few items that I've made my self photograph and add to etsy.... I definitely need to get to listing!
Above is Swing in Champagne. It's a simple long necklace with no clasp.
I've been liking simplicity lately and both of these designs really show that, I hope! For a while, I've been combining Czech Pressed Glass beads and Antique Brass chain, but these two designs really let the glass shine instead of showing off more of the chain!
Here is On The Level in Yellow and On The Level in Coffee.
The design is really simple, but I liked the pop of color with the yellow. And the coffee color is so mellow, that it'd work with any color combos.
You can also find a few different colors of these necklace Shoppe Local in South Minneapolis

Jewelry Party 11/21
I've known Talia for quite a while now, since she was my mani/pedi lady and I've loved her since we first met! She's a riot. Hilarious and sharp as a tack. It's hard to keep up with her sometimes!
Well, about a month ago she emailed me to see if I could bring my jewelry for a Girls Night. What could I say, but "OF COURSE"!
It was pretty mellow, ten of us girls hanging around and having a few drinks. I even got my sister to come along since we don't really hang out that much! I didn't do a big ol' spiel like you see at most parties, though I could have...
Sales were good and I got rave reviews of my work! ♥
I love being told I rock.
Oh, and Propay is sweet! It's so easy to enter Credit Card charges.
I took Sunday off, for the most part. Cookies, napping, playing a silly video game and football combined to make it a lovely day/weekend!

For Karen
Originally this necklace was a little different. A bigger hoop, less of a drop, more simple.
I changed out the hoop to one half the size and added several drops of beads. I wanted it to feel more like a waterfall of glass, so I added several different sized strands on the chain too. I think it came out really lovely. Hopefully Karen likes it!
Three drops to catch the light. The earrings will look so lovely with the necklace, but could really stand alone and be stunning.
The necklace and earrings are Antique Brass and Czech faceted glass in clear with an AB finish.

It just keeps coming....
How Studly!
I really love simple earrings. I love studs especially, since they take little or no thought or care to wear. Click on the photos to get redirected to my site for pricing and more information.

It is what it is....
I'm messy. Disorganized. I'm cute too. That should make up for the mess. I hope.
Anyway. I've been trying to get situated and organized so that I don't have to freak out whenever I have parties or do shows. It's taking some work, but I'm seeing major progress.
I'm also finding lots of items I don't have listed. Like, why, Jenny, why? It's because things get lost in the clutter. On the up side, you are going to see lots of new things coming in the next week or so! :D
Including these:
Roped In $10.00 on Etsy
Winter Leaf $14.00 on Etsy
Icicle $15.00 on Etsy

A Virtual Craft Show...?
I was just perusing the interwebs a while back trying to find some cute and crafty sites. I came across Cafe Handmade and really enjoyed the look and layout. AND it's like a juried craft show, where people get voted as best in show! Neat-o!
I want to win. There, I said it. It's easy as that. Go vote for me!

Delayed Reaction
I'm a little slow. I can admit it. Sometimes, sadly, I start things and NEVER finish them. It's bad. It's lazy, I know.
Well, in a random I-need-to-organize-and-clean mood this weekend, I came across a knit piece I started about two years ago. Yeah. Two years. *hides face in shame*
I folded it and set it aside until I could get all the knit items in one area and sewing stuff in another. I tossed all the fabric I have into the dryer just to get the dust out. I have lots of fabric, but it was completely disorganized. It took me three dryer loads just to get it all situated. *hides face in shame again*
When it came time to go through the knit/yarn things, I stopped yet again on this partially done sweater mess thingamajig. It was just the body, no arms and no neck.
Hmm. What to do? What to do?
I could add arms....
I could add a collar.......
Or I could just throw it back in the tote.
Then! EUREKA! What about a big ol' cowl neck on it. Leave off the sleeves and just do a big ol cowl?!
I did it. It's perfect. I showed my coworkers today and everyone wanted one..... I don't know how serious they were, mind you, but they loved it!
So, I'm making a white one now too.
Here's a relatively bad photo of it.... I'll take a new one soon.
You can see the arm holes and the turned over cowl.

I'm a part of something
I'm a member of an Etsy team. Like, finally. Ok, I can't believe I just typed "like".
Back to the point, I joined an Etsy team. I (generally) like people. They even tend to inspire me... happy/sad/mad/triumphant/and many other emotions.
So. Now I am a team member.... and wondering what to do first. Should I befriend everyone....? Comment on their blogs? Twitterstalk them? I'll figure that out as I go, I suppose.
Oh, the team has a blog too: Handmade MN Blog If you want to see other talented Etsy sellers from MN, that's the place to go!

I'm lovin' it!
The sweater, that is.... I ripped it apart. All the way down to nothingness.
Then I stared at the pattern for a long time. A loooooong time. Ok, less than five minutes until I realized what I needed to do to make it work for me.
I deleted a few unnecessary stitches, changed it around a bit, then I started knitting again. I'm about two inches in already. My hands hurt, but I'm in love with it now.
♥ it!
I'll take a pic this weekend after I get more time into it!

Darn Sweater!
Ok, so I'm about 8 inches into working on the sweater.... And I don't like it. At. All. I appreciate the pattern as it is, but parts of it are so beyond unattractive to me that I just can't keep going!
But.... I shant (yes, shant) give up on the lovely leaves pattern.... So I'm going to work up a similar style with the pattern and see what happens. It just won't be done for Christmas!
The other project, the vest, is coming along swimmingly though, so I'm not giving up!
Oh, and my flash busted on my camera. I wasn't upset because I never use flash, but still. Camera, I love you, stay healthy!

Taking a break
So, I'm going to take a little bit of time away from the pretty jewels and work on some other fun things I love to do.
Such as this lovely sweater. Her name is Eustice. She is a happy sweater. Sweater pattern at least. She's not actually made yet... She's three inches old now.
If the pattern weren't so detailed and, well, if I didn't have to read it for EVERY stitch, it'd go much faster! But it's so pretty, I must do it.
Darling Eustice is going to be a present for someone. I won't say who. I'll post some pictures soon to show off my work!
xoxo,
JB

My first wholesale order
I got my first request for a wholesale order a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get 62 pieces of jewelry made in just about a week and a half.
I did it though.
Here are about half of the items. I didn't get much chance to take pictures of them, but I grabbed a few.
If you like anything, you just let me know and I can recreate anything you see here. Well, except maybe the first pair of earrings. I'm tapped out on vintage chain this dainty!
Peachy Keen.
These were originally on Etsy. I had to make seven more pairs for my order!
Vintage chain, usually of the slightly tarnished brass persuasion and a cute peach colored enamel drop.
These were White Hot before I had to make them in different colors. Now they are called Heat.
Antique brass and Czech pressed glass beads.
These were probably my favorite pairs to work on just because they came out so lovely with each different color.
These were Orange Dream, but again, I had to change the name since I was asked to make several different colors.
I love the coffee colored ones.
Goddess is and always has been one of my favorite bracelets. I hadn't even thought to do it in different colors since it looks so lovely in the pearl color.
Since it was requested in red and blue, though, I made them and fell in love with the different colors. I intend to make a few other colors too, just to see what they look like.
Telling has also been one of my favorite bracelets for it's simplicity. I like combining colors in my jewelry arsenal, so these are the perfect small addition.
The gray is so lovely next to the antique brass. I'll be making one for myself in the near future!
Showdown along with Detta were the only two pieces of my Drawing of the Three line that were requested. Both the earrings and bracelet are simple, easy to wear pieces.
I love Showdown in Coffee too.

I figured, since Christmas and Hanukkah are soon arriving, that someone special deserves a present. No, not me. You. Well, if you are lucky and get your name drawn.

This is what you have to do:

and/or
2) Check out my shops Jenny Bunny Creations or Jenny Bunny on Etsy and tell me what your favorite piece of jewelry is!
Finally: Leave a way for me to get in touch with you. If you already have a blogger account, I can hunt you down there, but for my peeps without one, please leave your email!

Wow.
So, my meeting went well. I'm very excited. I'm also going to be very busy for the next week and a half!
My work is going to be in a new store or I'd link you to their location. I'm really excited that it's going to be focused on local handmade and local artists. I think it'll really showcase how many great crafters/artists/thinkers we have in Minnesota....
62 pieces of jewelry need to be done by next Thursday. Wow.
I wish I wasn't at my day job! :D

A new opportunity....
I'm so excited to have a meeting with a new store opening soon for a potential wholesale opportunity! Eeek! How exciting!
I meet with one of the ladies of the company on Tuesday.... I'm a little nervous... But I also think my jewelry is amazing. Not that I'm conceited, just confident.
Ok, maybe a little conceited. :D

New News!
Ok. So I've been a bit stressed... Family things... And I just had to put my dear, sweet Cassie to sleep. She's in kitty heaven now....... *sigh*
This is her with her daddy. Well, her second daddy. We got her from a friend a year or so back because his fiance was allergic to her. I think we gave her a nice home.... and I'm going to miss her.
She was one of the sweetest cats ever.... I'm not just biased either. She was a loving little thing.
And on to happy news: I've been working. And productive even. And I make pretty things!
Here are a few things, but many more are to come!

My Lucky Five has already viewed the line... And they are loving it! Only six more days until the rest of you get to see!
This is just a short update as I just got back from a mini-vacation! Camping is so fun and relaxing, but back to the anvil I go!
Check back on Saturday for the new items or subscribe to my newsletter!

8 Days
On July 24th, a group of five lucky gals will be getting the first peek at the Drawing of the Three line that I've been working on. Then, eight days after that, everyone else gets to see too!
The first people to get notified will be my subscribers to my newsletter! If you aren't subscribed, you'll have to wait a while. Probably until I wake up and start actually getting the items on the Jenny Bunny Creations site. If you want to get that first chance email, sign up to your right (email, name) or go to my site where the same sign up form is!
After the email, my facebook fan page (JBC on facebook) will be notified. Don't forget too, fans on facebook are the first to know what's going on day-to-day. Sometimes I don't get a chance to write up a big long blog. :)
That's all for now. I'm minorly obsessed with working on the line and trying to stay focused at my "normal" job...
xoxo,
JB

That's all for now. I'm minorly obsessed with working on the line and trying to stay focused at my "normal" job...

Feelin' the Love.
Thanks to LeshasWorkshop for adding me to her lovely treasury! I love the colors together... Reds and grays. Just stunning.

Drawing of the Three...
I've been in a mood lately. Really working on creating some stunning pieces...
I've also been on a "3" kick... multiples of 3... Just 3. Lots of threes. I don't know why exactly, but it's working for me. I'm loving what is coming from my imagination.
I am going to do a "mass" launch. Everything at once. All the colors, all the 3's. I'll be showing them off on August 1st!
They will be on Jenny Bunny Creations

Protection is very important.
It's true. You know it... But I'm talking about eye protection here.
I use a Dremel. Actually, I just started using my Dremel. I don't know where my brain was, but I just sort of forgot about it... I'm a bit of a ditz. I can admit that, ok.
Here is my advice as a novice Dremel operator- Wear goggles.
Tiny shards of metal flying at your face at a high velocity is not fun. I have no flesh wounds and I have both my eyes. I almost lost one though.
Some day I'll post a photo of me in my sexy goggles. For now, you'll just have to try to picture me with a big weird shield of plastic over my eyes.

Pendants
I've never been into making pendants before, so I sort of surprised myself when I started working on a few.... And I really liked them.
I fused the Argentium Silver into a larger hoop, then fused a smaller hoop around it (for the necklace chain to go through). To create some depth, I hammered and filed down the hoops also. I then wire wrapped Amethyst around the smaller one and Citrine around the larger one. I tried to keep it really organic and non-uniform. Unbalanced jewelry makes me happy!
Hope you enjoy!
