Orange you Glad!

I've been working on a new scarf. In orange. I love orange. I love soft yarns too.

This lace pattern was a little above my knitting abilities a few months ago, so I just admired it from afar.

I could not understand the "YO" thing. YO = Yarn Over.

Once I figured it out, I just went crazy on a pattern from The Caffeinated Crafter's Blog... I can't remember which post it is... You'll just have to find the waves and fans pattern!

I love her blog too, by the way. She's one smart cookie when it comes to crafting.

The pattern I used here though was one from a book that was published in 1960-something. The pics are to die for! I love it!

I just wanted to share the progress! It's a wide and warm scarf... Almost done... I need to add another foot and then do the finishing. I'm debating on fringe. I love fringe. But we'll see!

  1. I love the colour!! And you HAVE to go with a fringe! :)

  2. that's great, jenny, can i have it! lol
i tried to teach myself to knit, even got an i taught myself to knit book...YO, K1 P1... eh, i'll leave it to the jennies

  3. Oh I love orange!! I agree...fringe!

  4. Gorgeous. I love to knit, but I always get tripped up when there are a lot of YOs
