I have to admit...

I'm plum-tuckered. I've been going through a lot lately, but trying to keep a positive outlook.

When my Grandpa Jim died, I got kind of freaked out. I know it's normal and all, but life really goes by way too fast.... And I don't cherish all the great things I have as much as I should.

I've been sick for over a week now, but it's finally working it's way out of my system... It was horrible. I haven't been that sick from just a cold in so long....

And I'm trying to get back in the swing of things... I haven't made jewelry in a while, but I've been knitting... I even got the sewing machine I've been dreaming about. My main goal is organization though!

Poor Joe! I don't know how he puts up with my mess!

No, I can't sing... Actually I'm completely tone-deaf. It's frightening.

I GOT A 1970 SINGER SEWING MACHINE!!!! It's got the table and everything! I'm so excited!!! It needed some love and care, but Joe oiled it and I cleaned her up.... She runs like a dream.

Until I can hone my skills a bit though, I'm just making cat toys.... Lots and lots of cat toys. I'm hoping to get a dress form... An adjustable one because I'd really like to do clothing.... It's been a life long goal.... I think I still have notebooks from when I was a kid packed full of designs. Not that they were that good, but they were designs!!!

I'll take pics of the kitties with their toys tonight!

I am not myself. I looked up the seven stages of grief. I seem to be doing them backwards... or upside down... or just randomly. I am such an analytical person that I find my self examining the emotions I went through on the previous day. I never though grief could be so movie-like and cliche.... I think that's what bugs me... I like to think that I'm unique, but grief is so universal....... But I feel selfish being sad for myself.... It's all a big clusterfuck. Pardon my word, but it is. I don't do emotional well....


I've been knitting. Keeping myself busy.... I made some earrings. Hopefully I'll get to photograph them tonight after the gym!

Umm... Wow.

I was on the front page of etsy on Sunday, 10/5 for about an hour, I would guess.... And wow. I'm not even going to divulge my sales, but it was shocking. I have just started back on etsy selling.... and wow. It was really the thing I needed to keep me motivated and selling on there!

I have many new things coming to my site soon too! How fun! I'm so excited for that!

Break out.

Not my face... I'm just taking a break.... I'm knitting and crocheting like a fiend, but keeping the jewelry on the back burner. It's enjoyable though. I'm keeping my hands busy!

Oh, a few friends of mine and I have created another blog about our weight-loss journey... I'll post a link eventually, but we have to get everything taken care of layout wise before we do!

I've been really pushing it again at the gym... My friend borrowed me her Weight Watchers calculator, so I'm controlling my intake better too!

I love the gym so much that I'm afraid I'm going to become addicted... is that possible?!
